Terms and Conditions
(1.) All online bidders must register and submit an application for bidding approval and receive a bidder number before actual bidding can begin. You will receive your bidder number by email. Upon confirmation of your email address, this bidder number and your selected password will allow you to bid on any available item. Bidder numbers will be generated by the website, and passwords must contain at least 8 characters. By becoming a bidder with Global Wildlife Solutions, you give Global Wildlife Solutions/Big River Auction Co. express permission to send updates and notifications via email and/or text message to the contact information provided with your account. Email notifications may be sent through both our main web servers as well as additional third party email programs.
(2.) Global Wildlife Solutions recommends all bidders make every effort to confirm information from the item's full description. When placing a bid on any item, Bidder is entering a legally binding contract, agrees to these Terms and Conditions and agrees the bid placed is correct. The bidder will complete the contract by paying for the item that was bid on and retrieving the item per these Terms and Conditions.
Description and Guarantee: Unless otherwise indicated the pictures provided may not be the exact animal and are indicated as such by "example of animals" but they are equivalent representations of the animals you will receive.
Bidding: Each auction lot will be sold to the highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer. Buyers are bidding per piece to take the lot, unless where explicitly stated otherwise by the Auctioneer or in the auction catalog.All goods sold by auction will be subject to a reserve price, unless specifically stated otherwise by the auctioneer conducting the auction.
Bidding Disputes: In the event of tie bids (bidding disputes), the auctioneer will settle any such disputes and his decision will be final. Once the auctioneer says "SOLD," a contract is created solely between the seller and buyer. Auctioneer retains the right to re-auction the item. A bidding sheet will be submitted to the buyer for their immediate acknowledgment and signature.
Announcements: Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over printed material, including the auction catalog and any other printed or digital material.
Transport of Animals and Ownership: Once the animal is declared sold, the risk of injury and loss of an animal sold stays with the Seller until the funds are transferred or the animal is picked up, alert and in good heath. If buyer is transporting animal, once animal is on the trailer alert in good health liability transfers to buyer or transporter. If the Seller is transporting animal, liability rest with the seller or transporter until animal is delivered alert and in good health. Buyer will notified once animal (s) are captured, buyer will picked up within 10 days of notification. Notification of animal capture and the arrangements of transfer will take place within 60 days of the auction. Ranch manager or seller reserves the right to alter transportation dates and times of animals if at any time the animals heath is a concern. The well being and care of the animal with take precedent. Transfer of animals rest with the seller and buyer. Buyers and Sellers will make arrangements with consideration of weather provisions and or health risk. Funds will be transferred to seller once animal delivery is completed. Funds may be transferred sooner if requested by the seller and approved buyer. Once Funds are transferred risk of loss and death rest with the Buyer. In the case an animals dies there must be a necropsy and a vet verification of death provided by the seller. If this cannot be provided seller is responsible to provide a refund to the buyer. This transaction is between buyer and seller. Global Wildlife Solutions is not responsible for any transactions after auction funds are transferred. Once auction funds are transferred, this concludes and complete the obligation of Global Wildlife Solutions.
3.) The interactive bidding format will allow bidding by default set increments or you may place a maximum bid. You will see the results or your bid immediately upon placement. You may bid from any page where items are displayed including the: "Browse", "Ending Soon", "Watching", or "Bids" pages. All bidding for online auction items will begin closing at the day and time listed for each specific item. Item closings are dynamic, meaning that should a bid be placed on any item within the last 60 seconds of closing, bidding will be extended for an additional 60 seconds until all bidding has ceased. Users acknowledge that the online auction service may or may not function as designed for reasons beyond our control. Under no circumstances will bidder or seller have any claim against Global Wildlife Solutions, Swico Software Solutions, its website designer and/or developer, host or anyone else if any applicable internet service is interrupted for any reason causing any problems with the ability to bid and/or place items for sale. Global Wildlife Solutions will not be responsible for any missed bids.
(4.) For Live Auction Items, you are placing absentee bids. The high bidder and associated high bid for each live auction item at the designated online closing time BEFORE the live auction portion of an event will be the opening bid for the live auction and additional bids will be placed for you up to your maximum bid. If your set max bid is outbid then the onsite bidder gets the item. If your max bid or any lower automatic bid wins as the final high bid, then you win the bid. You will be called on sale day that you won the item and will receive an invoice for the Item(s). You will have three days to pay the invoice in full. After the 3 day period, item will be offered to the back up bidder. As a result of non payment your bidding privileges could be revoked for future auctions.
(5.) Acceptable payment is by wire transfers. Invoices will be provided once the sale closes. All purchases are due and payable in US funds within 3 business days.
(6.) Included in all paid invoices will be a contact for scheduling pickup with the seller. Buyers MUST present an invoice as proof of purchase when picking up their purchases from the seller. All of your invoices as a buyer can be found by clicking on the available Invoices page button and/or from the main account profile page.
(7.) All hunts sold will be arranged between the seller and buyer. The winner of the bid must contact the seller “guide or company” to make arrangements for your hunt. Upon winning the bid you will receive an email confirmation with the information necessary to contact seller “Guide or Company” and get your hunt confirmed. Global Wildlife Solutions is not responsible for descriptions of items described herein. Global Wildlife Solutions assumes no responsibility for trophy size or lack thereof.
(8.) Liability: All persons who attend this auction do so at their own risk. Neither Global Wildlife Solutions/Big River Auction Company its guest sellers, auctioneer nor employees assume liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur.
(9.) All animals have been verified to meet the Global Wildlife Solutions auctions expectations.
(10.) Any legal action arising from transactions related to any auction conducted by Swico Software Solutions, will be conducted in Brazos County, Texas, USA and under the current
